The beauty of the season
sits quietly on the sleeves of leaves
the petals of freshness
the grace of softness distills
the harried air
the hustle and bustle, the flurry of
feet, all too busy
gifts to get,
the mall to conquer,
the UPS, FED guy to catch
and home again,
to bake some more...
the vortex of rush
twirl to get you in the swirl.
Quietly the aroma seeps
filling the spaces of hearts
to pause
perhaps to gather
thoughts worthy of the season
Love, Joy, Peace...
stares
if only we care.
I made all the Christmas arrangements. Feel free to steal a moment to enjoy and perhaps, capture the beauty of the season.
